The Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF), is the only non-profit organization whose sole mission is to accelerate the discovery and development of drugs to prevent, treat and cure Alzheimer’s disease, related dementias and cognitive aging. Funded by Estee Launder foundation, the ADDF is committed to raising and awarding funds to academic and biotechnology scientists conducting drug discovery research in this field. In efforts to better communicate the brands detection to science, the Lauder Foundation sought the assistance of Token in launching a website and supporting social media strategy.
Token’s strategy for the ADDF website focuses on telling the real story of Alzheimers, putting a human face on the disease through the personal stories of patients, caregivers and physicians. As science is the backbone of what they do it was important to bring specific information and statistics to life across the site to derive home the impact the Alzheimer’s disease has on the world.
As part of the complete re-envisioning of The Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation’s digital presence, Token created a greatly simplified user experience and a visual design that spoke to the science world yet brought a human touch to the brand. In an effort to further their reach and create awareness, Token worked with the ADDF team to develop a social media plan that would connect the ADDF with audiences across multiple networks.
